Phoenixville Hospital has been benchmarking nursing quality outcomes with the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) since the 4th quarter of 2016 and has 7 quarters of data reported. Unit and hospital level data was submitted for injury fall rate, hospital acquired pressure injury (HAPI) prevalence, and catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) and central line associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) rates to compare with like units from more than 1,500 hospitals participating in the NDNQI database. Nurse education and certification rate is also being benchmarked.
