In 2022, Pottstown Hospital achieved many accreditations, awards, and rankings for the betterment of the community.
Pottstown Hospital started the year by ranking in the Top 100 Hospitals in the Country and second in Pennsylvania for Pay Equity by the Lown Institute, a nonpartisan health care think tank. They earned a place on their Honor Roll by earning "A" grades in inclusivity, clinical outcomes, cost efficiency, and pay equity within the following measures that determine overall social responsibility.
Pottstown Hospital was proud to be recognized as a Five-Star Recipient in the following specialty areas by Healthgrades, the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians, and health systems:
- Treatment of Heart Failure for three years in a row (2021-2023)
- Treatment of Heart Attack for two years in a row (2022-2023)
- Treatment of Stroke for two years in a row (2022-2023)
- Treatment of Sepsis for two years in a row (2022-2023)
- Treatment of Respiratory Failure in 2023
Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Awards recognize the top 10 percent of hospitals across the country in 17 specialty care areas. A Five-Star Rating mirrors a hospital’s commitment to delivering better-than-expected clinical outcomes. These achievements reflect Pottstown Hospital’s outstanding clinical outcomes and distinguish our hospitals as among the nation’s leading hospitals in these clinical areas.

Pottstown Hospital earned 2022-2023 US News & World Report’s High Performing ratings for COPD and Kidney Failure. "High performing" is the highest level a hospital can earn for USN&WR’s Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings. For the 2022-2023 rankings and ratings, USN&WR evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions.

Over the summer, the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines achievement awards were announced. For their commitment to research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke, Pottstown Hospital recognitions included:
- Stroke GOLD PLUS with Target: Stroke Elite Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll
- Heart Failure Silver Plus with Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll

Pottstown Hospital once again earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Primary Stroke Center Certification. They also received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. Both certifications require a rigorous on-site review process with Joint Commission experts.
