Virtual Medical Treatment for Patients of All Ages
Our virtual care options for adults and children include:
Virtual urgent care. When you need care quickly, we’re available 24/7/365. You can talk to a Tower Health Urgent Care provider via your mobile device or desktop computer – within 10 minutes or less.
- Virtual care by appointment. Have a routine medical question or concern? Schedule a video or phone appointment with your Tower Health Medical Group (THMG) provider on the day and time that works best for you — from wherever it’s best for you.
- Virtual pediatric care. Virtual visits scheduled through St. Christopher’s Pediatric Associates let you talk to your child’s pediatrician or specialist via video.
- eVisits. These health visits are ideal if you simply want to report your symptoms online without talking to a provider in real time. You can answer a series of questions related to your symptoms and attach any relevant photos. A Tower Health provider will review the information you submitted and send back treatment instructions in writing. Request an eVisit through your secure MyTowerHealth account or sign up for an account to access this option.
If you need emergency care, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Please do not use our virtual care services to diagnose life-threatening symptoms.
Virtual Care FAQs
What should I expect during my virtual visit?
Virtual visits are a lot like traditional office visits. Your provider will ask questions about your symptoms and how you’re feeling. If you’re using video, you can show them certain areas of concern (like eye redness or a wound). Your provider will offer medical treatment and, if necessary, order further testing, follow-up visits, or prescriptions.
What technology do I need for a virtual visit?
You can access our virtual care services using a computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone. If you plan to use Virtual Urgent Care, you’ll need to download and install the Tower Health Virtual Urgent Care app (available from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or via desktop at TowerHealthVirtualUrgentCare.org) and set up an account. Scheduled visits are conducted through MyTowerHealth.
How should I prepare for a virtual visit with video?
Here are some tips to improve your virtual care experience:
- Find a quiet place to have your visit
- Make sure you have a secure and reliable internet connection or Wi-Fi signal
- Use updated hardware and software on your computer, laptop, or smartphone
- Charge and test your devices before you connect with us
- During your visit, let your provider know if the quality of their video or audio makes the conversation unclear
