Thanks to the generosity of its staff, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children once again distributed Thanksgiving meals to 300 families in the North Philadelphia community on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
St. Christopher’s annual turkey drive is supported entirely by donations from the hospital’s employees, their families and friends.
Each of the 300 participating families received all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner for four, including an eight to 10-pound antibiotic-free turkey, bread, eggs, collard greens, cabbage, apples, pears and potatoes.
