PetSmart donates 5,000 stuffed animal toys for patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children

Four Philadelphia-area PetSmart stores joined to donate over 5,000 plush animal toys to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The toys will be distributed to kids and families in the hospital to brighten their days and show them love and support from the local community.

The donation comes from PetSmart’s annual holiday toy drive, which invites customers to purchase and donate a $5 plush toy from its Chance & Friends collection. The toys selected for donation by shoppers at the store are then gifted to local organizations like St. Christopher's.

Every Philadelphia-area resident who donated a Chance & Friends toy at their local PetSmart store had a hand in making this magical moment happen for the families whose children receive care at St. Christopher’s Hospital.

PetSmart expressed gratitude to Philadelphians who supported the initiative to spread holiday cheer in their community. To further contribute, for each Chance & Friends toy purchase, PetSmart donates $1 to the PetSmart Charities nonprofit to help pets in need.
