Members of Phoenixville Area High School Swim Team recently presented a check in the amount of $2,597.65 to the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital for their Patient Assistance Fund.
The Phoenixville Area High School swimmers and divers participated in the 6th annual Swim for the Cure swim-a-thon to raise funds for the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital. The event was held in December of 2019 and was a day for reflection about loved ones and swimming hard to support them. This pledge-based fundraiser encouraged the athletes to swim as many laps as they could and have donors pledge a certain amount of money per lap. The swimmers and divers of Phoenixville Area High School shattered their goal of $1,500 and raised over $2,500 in just one day.
