The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), a statewide membership services organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all Pennsylvanians citizens, has announced the appointment of Michelle Trupp, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Reading Hospital, to its board of directors for a three-year term effective January 1, 2023.

Ms. Trupp’s clinical and administrative career spans more than 40 years at Reading Hospital and Tower Health. In August 2022, she was named COO for Reading Hospital and Senior Vice President, Tower Health. Prior to that, Ms. Trupp was Chief Information Officer for Tower Health.
As one of the 28-member board of healthcare leaders from across Pennsylvania, Ms. Trupp will be actively involved in setting the association’s strategic direction and priorities to foster a robust hospital community and promote access to high-quality care across the commonwealth.
