Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health recently added two new members to their Board of Trustees, Jenna Armato, and Rev. Dr. Vernon Ross. With these additions, the Board of Trustees at Pottstown Hospital has become a “Who’s Who” in area leaders.

Rev. Dr. Vernon Ross is a spiritual leader at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, a nondenominational church open to all. As part of the Pottstown community for over 20 years, Rev. Dr. Ross will ensure the Hospital considers the spiritual needs of the community.

Jenna Armato grew up in the Pottstown community, and her family has always been active in local chambers. Meeting the needs of the community is a primary goal for Ms. Armato, and she has built a successful career being a Growth & Success Coach as well as a motivational speaker.

Since 2015, the Board of Trustees has grown from three community members to eight, with a positive impact on Pottstown Hospital.

  • Chairing the Board of Trustees is Myra Forrest, PhD. Dr. Forrest is currently an Education Advocate at the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation. Her passion for the success of Pottstown Hospital is very evident, and she is one of the biggest champions.
  • David A. Megay, Esq. is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. He is a Principal with O'Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, PC, and represents clients purchasing residential and commercial properties of all shapes, sizes, and values. He lends his legal expertise to the Board.
  • Howard S. Brown and Arthur Green also have a connection with the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation. Mr. Brown is a Program Officer with the Foundation, and Mr. Green is the past Chair of the Foundation Board. Both bring a wealth of knowledge to the Board on the health needs of the Pottstown Community.
  • Holly Parker, MEd, MS, BA, is the Executive Director, TriCounty Community Network. Ms. Parker and her team have partnered with Pottstown Hospital in their annual Amazing Raise Campaign. Most recently, the TriCounty Community Network received a grant that will help expand the Street Medicine Program in the Pottstown Community.
  • Frank Strunk spent more than 45 years in the Commercial Banking field and retired from Tompkins VIST Bank. Mr. Strunk has served on numerous community organizations and can bring best practices to the Hospital.

The Pottstown Hospital Board of Trustees donate their time and expertise freely for the good of the Hospital, and it is very much appreciated by the Hospital Administration.
