Q. Why do you love your job?
There is something so rewarding about a career in healthcare. The ability to be part of a team that can make a difference for our patients, employees, and the communities we serve is incredibly fulfilling. What we do matters!

Q. Do you have any pets, if so, what are their names?
Yes! Miles is a five-year-old Labrador; Frankie and Stella are two-year-old British Short Hair Cats; and Rex is our six-year-old crested gecko.

"I am honored to lead this organization of compassionate caregivers and physicians. I am deeply grateful to the Board for their unwavering support, and I thank Sue for being an incredible partner and mentor."

"Tower Health’s turnaround has been remarkable, but I understand there is still work to do to achieve our long-term goals. I’m grateful to the staff members and stakeholders who continue to believe in Tower Health, and the patients and their families who trust our team to provide high-quality care. I believe the best is yet to come as we continue to align our system, implement leading-edge services, and focus on meeting the robust healthcare needs of our community."

Q. What would surprise people about you?
My family and I are Disney fanatics. We love the movies, the parks, the characters, all of it! My love of Disney has also had a significant impact on how I approach my role in healthcare. One of my favorite books is "If Disney Ran Your Hospital," which focuses on overall “experience” and the similarities between Disney World and hospitals. This book has proven to be a guiding force throughout my career.

Q. What is your favorite song?
I am a huge fan of musician Billy Joel. There are many of his songs to choose from, but if I am forced to select just one, it would be “You May Be Right” from his Glass Houses album.

Q. Describe a perfect day.
Spending the day with my family and relaxing at the beach.

Q. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Coffee – and more specifically Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. I only drink one cup per day, but I run on Dunkin’!

Q. What's your favorite movie?
Air Force One. Harrison Ford was excellent. I’m a very big fan of action movies, and I enjoy watching them with my son, who also loves action movies.

Q. Does your family have a "motto" - spoken or unspoken?
I can, and I will.

Q. What's your favorite family tradition?
Every year around the holidays, we visit New York City. We enjoy the sights and always try to catch a New York Rangers hockey game. It’s a special time together.
