March 6, 2023 - With leadership from the Reading Hospital Magnet Champions Team, Reading Hospital employees have donated approximately 35,000 items to Helping Harvest as part of its 2023 Piece Per Person Food Challenge. 

February 27, 2023 - Reading Hospital continues to host Mobile Mammography Coach screening events for all women 40 years and older, as well as those under 40 who are considered high-risk, are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and have not had a screening mammogram in the past year.

February 23, 2023 -  On Friday, February 24, Tower Health will recognize “Thank a Resident and Fellow Day.” This special day honors Residents and Fellows for their commitment, dedication, and the positive impact they have on the lives of patients.

February 9, 2023 - On Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Health Committee of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Reading Hospital, will host a Community Health Fair at Centro Hispano, 25 N 2nd Street in Reading. Spanish and English providers will be present at the event.

February 1, 2023 - On Friday, February 3, Tower Health will recognize National Women Physicians Day. This date marks the birthday of legendary physician Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, an influential figure who, in 1849, changed the profession of medicine by becoming the first American woman to earn a medical degree.

January 24, 2023 - The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), a statewide membership services organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all Pennsylvanians citizens, has announced the appointment of Michelle Trupp, Chief Operating Officer (COO), of Reading Hospital, to its board of directors for a three-year term effective January 1, 2023.

January 17, 2023 - Tower Health today announced that Reading Hospital is one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for 2023, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients.

January 10, 2023 - Reading Hospital is hosting Mobile Mammography Coach screening events throughout Berks County in 2023.

December 21, 2022 - Reading Hospital Foundation announced today that it raised $41,746 through the annual “No Shave November” event. 

December 13, 2022 - The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted accredited status to Reading Hospital.
