Tower Health announced today that Mary Kargbo has been named to the Board of Directors beginning August 1, 2022, for a three-year term. The Tower Health Board of Directors is composed of dedicated volunteers who provide community oversight to Tower Health as it fulfills its mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for the communities it serves.

Mrs. Kargbo currently serves as President and CEO of Berks Community Health Center, a role she has held since 2012. Prior to this role, she served as President and CEO of Sheehan Health Network, Chief Operating Officer at Orleans Community Health, Nurse Manager and Director of Maternal Child Services at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center in Syracuse, NY, and a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Community General Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

She received both her Master of Science in Maternal Child Administration and bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Syracuse University. She graduated from a Nurse Midwifery program at Edgware Hospital, Middlesex, UK.
