The Highest Quality Standard

Tower Health Urgent Care has received Accreditation in Urgent Care and Occupational Health through the National Urgent Care Association.

Accreditation is the highest quality standard in urgent care medicine.

“This is a tremendous professional achievement for our clinical staff, who continuously go above and beyond to help our patients and their families,” said Rebecca Adams MSN, RN, Director, Clinical Practice. “It reaffirms our commitment to providing high-quality care focused on best practices, patient safety, and excellent clinical outcomes."

Tower Health Urgent Care operates seven locations throughout Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties. It became the first accredited network in Pennsylvania in 2014, and the staff maintains that quality standard today. Only 13 percent of urgent care centers nationwide are accredited.

“Our staff maintain excellence, and I’m incredibly proud of this team,” said Ian Vanore, Regional Director, Physician Practices. “They are always prepared, patient-focused, and committed to quality – from initial registration through triage, treatment plan, patient education, and discharge.”

In addition to accreditation, the Antibiotic Stewardship Commendation was also awarded to staff for meeting the advanced requirements associated with this critical quality indicator. Accreditation occurs every three years when surveyors evaluate quality in the following categories: certification criteria; governance; health record management; human resources; patient care processes; physical environment; privacy, rights, and responsibilities; and quality improvement.

“This was my first accreditation, and I gained a new understanding of how significant our daily processes are for quality care,” said Janelle Krieble, LPN. “We are even more motivated to uphold these standards for ourselves and our patients.”

“We would like to thank everyone for their preparation and participation in our Urgent Care accreditation,” said Dr. Ziad Osman, Medical Director. “This accomplishment is a team effort, and we know that their dedication, expertise, and collaboration are what made us successful.”
