May 12, 2023 - The students of the inaugural class of Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) at Tower Health will soon begin the third year of their medical school training.

May 4, 2023 - The Reading Hospital Medical Executive Committee, with support from Reading Hospital Foundation, will be hosting a humorous evening of Continuing Medical Education for physicians with William Flanary, MD., on Tuesday, May 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

April 27, 2023 - On Friday, April 28, at 7 p.m. Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences will host a graduation ceremony for students in the Nursing, Surgical Technology, Medical Imagining, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs. 

April 11, 2023 - Tower Health successfully filled all its open residency slots, adding 108 residents in 12 residency programs with students from 63 medical schools in the United States and internationally.

March 13, 2023 - Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing industry sectors in the nation, and there is a critical need to increase the number of students pursuing careers in the field. To meet this need, Reading Hospital created “Pathways Programs” to expose area students to the many healthcare careers available in the health system.

February 23, 2023 -  On Friday, February 24, Tower Health will recognize “Thank a Resident and Fellow Day.” This special day honors Residents and Fellows for their commitment, dedication, and the positive impact they have on the lives of patients.

February 9, 2023 - On Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Health Committee of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Reading Hospital, will host a Community Health Fair at Centro Hispano, 25 N 2nd Street in Reading. Spanish and English providers will be present at the event.

December 1, 2022 - Reading Hospital is offering tuition scholarships for School of Health Sciences (SOHS) students interested in a career in nursing, diagnostic medical sonography, surgical technology, or medical imaging.

October 11, 2022 -  On Wednesday, October 12, Tower Health will host its second annual Research Day. The event showcases the recent scholarly activity of Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students across the health system through poster and podium presentations.

July 19, 2022 - Tower Health is adding 162 Residents and Fellows with students from 96 medical schools in the United States and internationally. The new Residents and Fellows will arrive in June for orientation and then officially begin their trainings on either July 1 or August 1, 2022.
