March 5, 2024 – The Reading Hospital Magnet Champions Team coordinated its 13th annual "Piece Per Person" challenge, which encouraged hospital employees to donate items to fill Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank's Weekender Program food bags for Reading School District students.

February 15, 2024 - Employees at Reading Hospital brought lots of love to patients this Valentine's Day, delivering 700 carnations and cards to patient rooms. 

February 14, 2024 - Reading Hospital is pleased to announce the generous donation of two AEDs that will be part of The Friends of Reading Hospital’s HeartSAFE Berks County AED Loaner Program. The program provides community organizations with access to this lifesaving technology at no cost.

January 23, 2024 - Reading Hospital Foundation released its 2022-2023 Annual Report, which includes donor recognitions and inspiring stories from patients and employees who have directly benefited from donations.

January 18, 2024 - As the nation marked what would have been the 95th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Monday, January 15, employees throughout Tower Health participated in special Day of Service projects that honored his legacy and also benefited our patients and the communities we serve.

December 1, 2023 - Reading Hospital has re-introduced Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to better equip employees and community members with the training and knowledge they need to support someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

November 22, 2023 - Thanks to the generosity of its staff, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children once again distributed Thanksgiving meals to 300 families in the North Philadelphia community on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. 

November 21, 2023 – Team members from the Reading Hospital Nutrition Services Department and Michelle Trupp, MSN, RN, CEN, Chief Operating Officer for Reading Hospital, volunteered to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys to Berks County residents at The Salvation Army in Reading on Tuesday, November 21. 

November 1, 2023 - In an effort to raise awareness about men’s health, the Reading Hospital Foundation is hosting Beards & Brews with celebrity bartenders at BLDG 24 on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 4 to 10 p.m. 

October 30, 2023 - Raising $150,000 to buy tens of thousands of books for patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children was the successful goal of the 10th annual Reach Out and Read charity basketball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023.
