February 27, 2023 - Reading Hospital continues to host Mobile Mammography Coach screening events for all women 40 years and older, as well as those under 40 who are considered high-risk, are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and have not had a screening mammogram in the past year.

February 16, 2023 - Tower Health Medical Group Surgery is pleased to announce that Dalkeith Facey, DO, FACOS, FACS, MBA; and Scott Grant, MD, M. Bioethics, FACS, have joined their practice. Both surgeons are on the Medical Staff at Phoenixville Hospital and Pottstown Hospital.

February 13, 2023 - Tower Health announced today that TowerDIRECT, the system’s non-profit ambulance company, has been awarded a three-year contract to provide emergency 911 response in the Borough of Birdsboro.

February 9, 2023 - On Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Health Committee of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Reading Hospital, will host a Community Health Fair at Centro Hispano, 25 N 2nd Street in Reading. Spanish and English providers will be present at the event.

February 1, 2023 - On Friday, February 3, Tower Health will recognize National Women Physicians Day. This date marks the birthday of legendary physician Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, an influential figure who, in 1849, changed the profession of medicine by becoming the first American woman to earn a medical degree.

January 31, 2023 – In 2022, Pottstown Hospital achieved many accreditations, awards, and rankings for the betterment of the community. 

January 24, 2023 - The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), a statewide membership services organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all Pennsylvanians citizens, has announced the appointment of Michelle Trupp, Chief Operating Officer (COO), of Reading Hospital, to its board of directors for a three-year term effective January 1, 2023.

January 2023 - Phoenixville Hospital – Tower Health is pleased to announce that it ranked in the top 10 percent of 861 inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) that qualified to be ranked in the IRF database of Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR®, LLC) for cases discharged between October 2021 and September 2022.
