September 15, 2023 - Capital Blue Cross has graciously donated to Reading Hospital’s Street Medicine program, which improves the quality of care provided to both patients and underserved communities in Berks County.

September 12, 2023 – Reading Hospital employees attended a “Pink Party” on September 12 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Mobile Mammography Coach, which increases access to life-saving screenings through events held in Berks County.

September 9, 2023 – Each day, healthcare workers and first responders face the risk of being exposed to traumatic events. Even so, Reading Hospital employees show up every day to provide the highest levels of clinical care and support to the communities we serve.

August 30, 2023 - Reading Hospital Road Run is set for October 15, 2023, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital. Two races are available: a half marathon and a 5K. The deadline for registration is October 10.

August 17, 2023 - The popular Reading Hospital Bike Share Program is returning thanks to funding provided by The Friends of Reading Hospital, following a temporary pause during the COVID-19 pandemic.

August 3, 2023 - The 2023 Reading Hospital Golf Classic, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital, will be held on Monday, August 7 at Berkshire Country Club, 1637 Bernville Road, Reading. This year, The Friends have raised nearly $100,000 in support of a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the hospital. 

July 24, 2023 - The Friends of Reading Hospital and the Reading Hospital Community Wellness team will donate two electric bikes to the West Reading and City of Reading Police Departments. 

July 11, 2023 - PENN Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has committed $75,000 over five years to the Reading Hospital Foundation.
