July 10, 2023 - Tower Health announced today that Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Hospital, and Reading Hospital have received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Heart Failure Gold Plus with Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll quality achievement award for their commitment to improving outcomes for patients with heart failure, meaning reduced readmissions and more healthy days at home.

June 5, 2023 - The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted re-accredited status to Breast Health Center – Phoenixville.

June 26, 2023 - The Friends of Reading Hospital (The Friends) announced today that they will provide $241,239 in grant funds to aid hospital departments.

June 12, 2023 - Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing hosted its 10th Annual Amputee Golf Outing, sponsored by The Amputee Support Group, on Tuesday, June 6.

June 1, 2023 - Reading Hospital - Tower Health recently received a $193,078 grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to implement a hospital-based violence intervention program (HVIP) and provide community education and resources to prevent gun violence. 

May 25, 2023 - Reading Hospital Stroke Center recently launched a new program, “How Do You Eat An Elephant?”, funded by the Reading Hospital Foundation, in support of May being National Stroke Awareness Month.

May 24, 2023 - Reading Hospital will recognize 30 high school seniors from across Berks County who have completed the Reading Hospital High School Internship Program at an end-of-year celebration.
