The mission of the Reading Hospital Foundation is to improve the Reading Hospital and community healthcare services through grants awarded for projects intended to support patient care and education, professional training and development, and innovative clinical research.
Reading Hospital Foundation is proud to provide $500,000 in grant support each year for Reading Hospital staff who seek to enhance the health and well-being of our patients, healthcare providers, and the community we serve.
Types of Grants Awarded
- Healthcare Innovation: Innovation is based on curiosity, risk-taking, and experimentation. Healthcare Innovation grants will support the development of new ideas that enhance or transform the delivery of high-quality healthcare services as well as patient and staff education.
- Education and Professional Development: Will support medical professional training, clinical excellence, and new patient care strategies.
- Research: Will support projects or programs that have the potential to enhance the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, including research in the areas of patient treatment, disease understanding, patient support, population health, product delivery, and systems management.
If you have a project that meets one of these criteria, please complete a Letter of Intent. There are two grant cycles each year and grant requests are reviewed and approved by the Grants Committee. All awarded grants will be required to provide updates on their projects.
