March 6, 2023 - With leadership from the Reading Hospital Magnet Champions Team, Reading Hospital employees have donated approximately 35,000 items to Helping Harvest as part of its 2023 Piece Per Person Food Challenge. 

March 2, 2023 - On Wednesday, March 8, Debra Powell, MD, Interim Chair, Department of Medicine, Chief, Division of Infectious Disease, and Medical Director, Infection Prevention, at Reading Hospital, will host a special "Good Thyme for Life" dining event from 5 to 9 p.m. at Saucony Creek Franklin Station, 692 Franklin Street, Reading.

February 9, 2023 - On Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Health Committee of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Reading Hospital, will host a Community Health Fair at Centro Hispano, 25 N 2nd Street in Reading. Spanish and English providers will be present at the event.

January 17, 2023 - In an effort to encourage families and communities to take an active role in protecting children from gun violence, leading healthcare systems across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey have joined thousands of hospitals and health associations, in a nationwide public awareness and education campaign.

January 10, 2023 - Reading Hospital is hosting Mobile Mammography Coach screening events throughout Berks County in 2023.

November 21, 2022 -  Earlier this year, Tower Health completed the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), which identifies its region’s health priorities.

July 12, 2022 - Tower Health has produced its latest round of Community Health Needs Assessments for its hospitals’ service areas in Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.

March 21, 2022 - The Friends of Reading Hospital announced that the Reading Hospital Road Run will again return to West Reading this fall, on the morning of Sunday, October 16. The 2022 event will include a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles), with both routes primarily covering fast and scenic roadways around the Reading Hospital in West Reading and surrounding neighborhoods.

October 22, 2021 - On Thursday, October 28, Reading Hospital will host a blood drive for Miller-Keystone Blood Center. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and all 41 appointments have been filled.

August 2, 2021 - On Tuesday, Aug. 3, the inaugural class of Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health MD Program students will be painting a portion of a mural sponsored by ruOK Berks?, the Berks County Suicide Prevention Task Force. The theme of the 45-foot-tall mural is “HOPE” and was designed by local artist Gregory Didyoung.
