April 1, 2021 - Each day, 17 people in the United States die while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Tower Health is pleased to join the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) and Gift of Life Donor Program and organ procurement organizations throughout the country to inspire hope, advocacy, and passion as part of a statewide campaign to promote organ and tissue donation. Gift of Life encourages individuals to register to become an organ, tissue, and cornea donor.

July 17, 2020 - To educate the community about the importance of resuming preventive care, Tower Health Oncologist Nick Leasure, MD, and patient Kayleen Stunz teamed up to create a public service announcement about the benefits of routine mammogram screening.

December 23, 2019 - On Monday, December 16, members of The Friends of Reading Hospital and Reading Hospital HeartSAFE committee received a $2,000 donation from Tompkins Financial.

September 3, 2019 - Reading Hospital is partnering with United Way for the tenth consecutive year to coordinate the 2019 Stuff the Bus - Adopt a Classroom campaign for Reading School District. 

June 3, 2019 - The Friends of Reading Hospital is returning for the 5th year of support to expand the Berks Farm Bucks Program, with a donation of $30,000. 

April 22, 2019 - In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, Phoenixville Hospital held their annual Volunteer Appreciation lunch at Spring Hollow Golf Club in Spring City on April 12.

April 11, 2019 - On Friday, April 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Reading Hospital will host a luncheon to celebrate the individuals who donate their time, compassion, joy, talent, and everlasting commitment to the hospital, our patients, and the community.
