Each workday begins with morning service rounds followed by a protected educational session attended by all residents and most of the faculty members.
Lectures and Focused Education
Monday through Friday from 7 to 8 a.m. are protected didactic lectures, formal L&D huddle occurs every morning from 8 to 8:15 a.m.
Guest Speakers
Our guest speakers include nationally renowned academicians who will broaden your view of medicine and the world. The goal of these sessions is to share experiences so that residents and physicians alike learn, grow, and become more knowledgeable about the best ways to treat the patients who are in our care.
Cooperative Learning
You will also have cooperative learning experiences with other departments in the Hospital, including pathology, radiology, and oncology. Clinically, as a resident, you’ll provide care in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
